Я в затруднительной ситуации.
Сейчас меня беспокоит такой вопрос.
Я сообщила мужчине (мы не женаты), что беременна. Он предложил adoption or abortion.
Сказал, что не готов к отцовству. И в конце разговора сказал, чтобы я его больше не беспокоила.
Я, напротив, очень хотела ребёнка. Я выносила и родила. В свидетельстве я указала только себя как мать.
Вопрос.
1) Должна ли я была по закону сообщать ему о том, что ребёнок родился?
2) Должна ли я при заказе паспорта указывать то, что я знаю об отце?

You are not obligated to contact or use the father's name unless you are interested in collecting child support now or in the future. Whether or not the father wants this child he must pay for him. All you need to do is ask.
If you are not seeking child support or financial assistance from the City you are not obligated to add the father to the birth certificate. But you will then be on your own financially supporting your child. The father may not have wanted your baby but once he learns about the baby's existence, he may turn out an ok Dad.
